Contract Key Terms Extraction Template Prompt
Every contract contains a handful of facts that someone will need later: who signed, when it starts, when it renews, what it costs, how it ends. This prompt pulls them out into a structured list, so the information lives somewhere other than inside a PDF nobody reopens.
How to Use the Prompt:
- The contract: paste the full agreement, annexes included — renewal terms often hide there.
- The fields you need: parties, effective date, term, renewal mechanism, notice period, value, payment terms, governing law, liability caps.
- The output format: a table for a spreadsheet, or structured data for a system that will store it.
